§ 01 · Composition

One score. Ten weighted signals.

WVI is a weighted blend of ten sub-scores, each normalised to 0–100. The default weights sum to exactly 1.00.

§ 02 · Adaptive

Same signals. Different day, different values.

The engine rebalances weights by time of day and exercise state. At night, recovery dominates. Morning: readiness takes over. During effort, oxygen and movement lead.

§ 04 · Emotions

Eighteen states. Detected from biometrics alone.

The engine reads heart-rate variability, stress, pulse coherence, temperature and sleep. It picks a primary and secondary emotion every minute. Each emotion nudges WVI up or down.

§ 05 · Detection

Three shapes. Every emotion built from them.

The engine does not classify you with a yes/no. It scores every candidate emotion with three fuzzy shapes ('more is better', 'less is better', 'bad on both sides'), then picks the one with the strongest fit.

More is better

Used when a biometric is 'bad below, good above'. Example: HRV above 50 ms means better autonomic balance.

Less is better

Used when lower values win. Example: stress index below 32 means calmer nervous system.

Bad on both sides

Score peaks at a target, drops if the
signal is too low or too high.

Used for 'sweet spot' metrics. Example: heart rate about 10 bpm above resting is the flow-state zone.

§ 06 · Feedback

Emotions amplify. Up to +30%. Down to −20%.

When the engine picks a primary emotion, it applies a multiplier to the final WVI. Flow state and meditation boost your score. Exhaustion and fear dampen it. Magnitude scales with detection confidence.

§ 07 · Smoothing

The engine is patient. It doesn’t flip every 30 seconds.

Inside a 5-minute window, the engine refuses to change the active emotion unless a new candidate scores at least 30% higher. This kills noise and false positives.

  1. T + 0 s

    Active: Focused

    Confidence 0.62. HRV stable, low activity, coherent pulse.

  2. T + 90 s

    Challenger: Stressed (0.55)

    Below the 30% advantage. Focused still wins.

  3. T + 180 s

    Challenger: Anxious (0.68)

    0.68 ÷ 0.62 = 1.10. Still under the 1.30 threshold.

  4. T + 260 s

    Challenger: Anxious (0.85)

    0.85 ÷ 0.62 = 1.37. Crosses 1.30. State flips.

  5. T + 300 s

    Window resets

    After five minutes the engine starts fresh. New candidates compete from zero.

§ 08 · Activity

64 activities. Grouped into 12 categories.

Beyond biometric state, the engine classifies what you are doing. Recovery, sleep, strength, mental effort each land on a different adaptive profile. A WVI of 72 after a deep-work session means something different than a 72 after a sprint workout.
