1. Not a medical device

Wellex, the WVI score, the Wellex bracelet, the Wellex iOS and watchOS apps and any associated content are wellness products intended for general fitness, recovery, sleep, stress and lifestyle insight. They are not medical devices and have not been cleared, approved or registered by the FDA, EMA, MHRA, Roszdravnadzor or any other regulatory body for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of any disease or medical condition.

2. What the WVI is — and is not

The Wellness Vitality Index (WVI) is a single composite score derived from consumer-grade sensor signals (such as heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep and movement). It is a directional wellness indicator, not a clinical measurement. Features that surface mood, stress or "Emotional Mining" signals are lifestyle insights only — they are not a psychological, psychiatric or diagnostic assessment.

3. Not a substitute for professional advice

Information provided by Wellex — including the WVI score, daily directions, AI guidance, and physiological readings — is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified provider with any questions you have about a medical condition, treatment, medication, exercise programme, diet, or before making any lifestyle change.

4. Never delay care

Never disregard, avoid, or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read or saw in Wellex. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency — chest pain, severe shortness of breath, signs of stroke, suicidal thoughts, anaphylaxis, or any other urgent condition — call your local emergency number immediately.

5. Limitations of consumer sensors

The Wellex bracelet uses optical PPG, GSR/EDA, skin-temperature and accelerometer sensors. These are consumer-grade sensors. Readings can be affected by skin tone, tattoos, motion, sweat, ambient light, fit and other factors. Do not make medical decisions based on individual readings.

Apple Watch ECG and heart-rate data is provided by Apple. Wellex does not interpret it as a medical signal — we surface it only for context.

6. No clinical claims

Statements about wellness, recovery, sleep, mood, stress, longevity or any other physiological or psychological state contained in Wellex content have not been evaluated by any regulatory authority. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

7. AI guidance

Wellex may surface AI-generated guidance powered by large language models. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or hallucinated. Treat it as one input among many, never as medical advice. Do not paste private medical history into the AI chat unless you are comfortable with the data flow described in our Privacy Policy.

8. The Yield layer is not health-related

9. High-risk users
