Performance · beyond the morning score

The pain:Most wellness bands stop at sleep. Athletes need strain, load, and recovery.

Beyond the morning score.
For people who actually train.

Wellex Performance layer adds the metrics serious athletes track — strain, training load, recovery, live HR zones, VO₂max, workout auto-detect — on top of the same one-band, 14-day, screen-free hardware.

§ 01 · The performance stack

Six numbers. Each one you can move.

Wellex measures the same physiology Whoop, Polar, and Garmin watches measure — and rolls it into one daily decision. Strain too high yesterday → today is recovery. Load deficit → today is push. No graph-staring required.

Strain Score (0-21)

Cardiovascular strain accumulated through the day, scaled to your max HR and HRV baseline. Real-time during workout, summed nightly.

Training Load (7d / 28d)

Acute vs chronic load ratio. Wellex flags the green zone (1.0-1.3) so you avoid the injury cliff.

Recovery (0-100)

Overnight HRV + sleep quality + resting HR + skin temp. Wakes you up with one decision: push, hold, or recover.

Live HR Zones (Z1-Z5)

Real-time during workouts. Per-second heart-rate sampled at 120Hz, broadcast to Strava/Zwift/TrainingPeaks via BLE.

VO₂max trend

Sub-maximal estimation refreshed every 7 days. Track the curve across a season.

Workout auto-detect

Run, ride, swim, lift, climb, row — auto-detected and tagged with HR zones, calories, and route. No 'did you forget to start' regret.

§ 02 · Where your data goes

Strava. TrainingPeaks. Apple Health. Google Fit. Garmin Connect.

Wellex auto-syncs every night to the platforms you already use. Coaches see your strain. Strava sees your runs. Apple Health sees your sleep. One band, every ecosystem.

§ 03 · A week with Wellex Performance

One band. A coach who watches in the background.

Each morning the band tells you the day's strain target. Each evening it shows the strain you actually accumulated, your recovery delta, and the projected target for tomorrow.

§ 04 · Athletes who train with it

Switched from Whoop after 4 years. The 14-day battery means I never miss a night. The recovery score got me to my first sub-2:50 — strain target on tempo days kept me from over-cooking.
