Clinical validation

The studies that validate WVI and the sensor accuracy claims.

Why this page exists

A wellness device should not make claims it cannot back up. Wellex publishes the methodology and the third-party reference checks for every metric we surface to members.

WVI validation

WVI is correlated against subjective wellness self-reports collected from 4 200 members across 90 days (Spearman ρ = 0.61). It is not a medical biomarker — it is a model-derived index calibrated to predict next-day perceived recovery.

What we do not claim

  • Wellex is not a medical device.
  • WVI is not a diagnosis.
  • We do not predict illness, longevity or risk of disease.
