Executive summary

A two-minute summary of the Wellex product, market and business model.

Last updated: 2026-04-07

Product

A screen-free wellness bracelet with eight biosensors, a companion app, and a daily 0–100 WVI score with a single direction for the day.

Market

Wellness wearables is a $50B+ category dominated by Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop and Fitbit. None of these are luxury, screen-free and prescriptive. Wellex sits in the gap.

Business model

Hardware is at cost or near-cost. Revenue comes from a $19/month membership. Two entry tiers:

  • Wellness Member — $49 one-time (bracelet + 2 months) then $19/month.
  • Wellex Partner — $99 one-time (bracelet + partner tools + 2 months) then $19/month.

Unit economics

Member LTV at 24-month retention is roughly $440. CAC target is < $80. Contribution margin > 60% at scale.

Why now

Three things converge in 2026: medical-grade sensors are cheap, on-device ML can run real personalisation without sending raw data to the cloud, and consumers are tired of attention-economy wellness apps.
