Improve your WVI in 14 days

A simple 14-day protocol focused on the four habits that move WVI fastest.

Last updated: 2026-04-07

The four levers

WVI is driven mostly by four things, in this order:

  1. Sleep duration — getting to 7+ hours of actual asleep time.
  2. Sleep timing — going to bed at roughly the same hour every night.
  3. Daily movement — 7 000–10 000 steps spread across the day.
  4. Recovery breath work — 5 minutes of slow breathing before bed.

Days 1–3: protect sleep

Pick a bedtime and stick to it within ±30 minutes. Phone out of the bedroom. Lights down 30 minutes before. That is the entire protocol.

Days 4–7: add walking

Walk after every meal, even if only 5 minutes. Track total steps in the app. Aim for 7 000+ on the first weekend.

Days 8–10: add breath work

Five minutes of 4-7-8 breathing (inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8) before lights out. The app has a guided version.

Days 11–14: maintain

Do not add anything new. Just sustain the three habits. Watch the WVI trendline, not the daily number — that is where you will see the lift.

Most members see WVI move 10–20 points across two weeks. If yours barely moves, the model is telling you the bottleneck is somewhere we have not addressed yet — usually stress or alcohol.
